To effect that desirable object the Company proposo to Lease the Napier Town Hall Reserve, or some other suitable ground, "and to make such improvements as will be considered necessary. The Income of the Company will be derivable from tho rents accruing from the various Athletic Clubs, Friendly Societies, or others requiring tho use of the Ground for Sports, Fetes, etc., audit is estim. ated that oxtremely moderate charges for such purposes will amount to sufficient to carry on the business of the Company and leave a balance to bo devoted to further improvements and ornamentation of the Grounds, as the Shareholder deem advisable. Such a Ground is much required and will be an ornament and convenience to the town, and the iacilitics afforded for Athletic cxccrcise cannot fail to be greatly conducive to health, and also the means of saving considerable expense and inconvenience to the members of tho various Clubs and Friendly Societies, who incur heavy travelling expenses in proceeding to hold their festivities and games at a distance from town.
