The negotiations which have been commenced here between the representatives of the French and English Governments on tho subject of the Anglo-French commercial relations were progressing satisfactorily, and there are hopeful signs that an amicable agreement will be come to.
Telegrams to hand to-day from Tunis announce that a squadron of French hussars now act as a guard of honor to the Bey.
