WELLINGTON.
September 22. The following intercolonial weather exchange was received to-day:—Sydney, Wednesday. There is heavy rain from the S.W. at Portland, and a rough sea south of Tasmania, the prevalent wind being S.W. Tbe weather is fine at Sydney. Tbe barometer registers at Albany 30 9, at Portland 30-1, at Hobart 29 6, and at Sydney 29 8. Mr Richmond Renal], of Hurunuiangi, Carterton, a son of the Mayor of Masterton, was found dead in the bush from a gunshot wound this morning, about a quarter of a mile from his whare. The deceased was subject to melancholy fits, and was missing since Monday. A search was made, with the above result.
