Yesterday the Commissioner of Crown Lands held a sale of country township and suburban sections. Most of the sections sold readily at satisfactory prices, and the sale realised £1800.
Letters are appearing in the daily papers urging the Cricket Association to take steps to engage a professional cricketer to give instructions to young players.
