APPOINTING GAZETTES UNDER THE DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACT, 75. [Extracts from the JVew Zealand Gazette, Dec. 23.] Whereas by the fifth section of tho Debtors and Creditor* Act, 1875, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the term "Gazette" in the s. id Act shall mean any newspaper or newspapers to bo from time to time appointed by the Goveinor for each district: And whereas, by a proclamation dated the 22nd instant, the districts named in the schedule hereto were constituted districts under the said Act: Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantino, Marquisof Normanby, the Go\ crnor of the Colony of New Zealand, m pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me, do hereby appoint, for the districts named in tht schedule heielo, the newspapers the names whereof are in the haul schedule set opposite to tho names of such districts shall be the Guzctlcx for such districts respectively under the Slid Act.
