DICTATION.

To the Editor : Sir, — And has it come to thi3, that a cential committee sitting in Auckland, and composed of Auckland men, is to be allowed to dictate to country constituencies for whom they should vote, and send out their candidates, defeated and rejected in Auckland, but supposed to be good enough for the country ? We can find men quite competent to represent us, with as much talent, and perhaps more honesty than those of Auckland, but Franklin people are told to be satisfied to have two candidates sent out to them, simply labelled, "to be returned for .Franklin. " I admire an honest compact, but I detest dictation, and 1 hope the country voters, one and all, will do the lame, —Iain, &c, John Blunt.
