We have news from the Ba this morning that an attack bad betn made on the whites by the natives, who were repulsed with th« loss of one man, who was completely rifled with bullets. No whites have been hurt since the campaign commenced. The Auckland and Fiji Cotton Company at Nandi Bay is likely to be placed on a better working scheme in the future.
