Caledgnian. — The coupling of the lift rods again gave way last night, and pumping was suspended in consequence. The damage has been made good again, and the pumps are now throwing a heavy stream. Barring further accident the bottom level should be clear of water to-morrow. All Nations. — More specimens were taken out of the mine last night and this morning. The mine looks well throughout. 8.59 p.m. A dividend of 10s. per share in the Nonpareil Goldmining Company has been declared. This will leave a reserve of £1,269. Will's tribute under Tookey Goldmining Company came across a patch of rich specimens to-day. Business in the sharemarket is slack. Caledonian shares arc quoted at £120 ; Thames, £23 10s. ; Tookey, £28 103. ; All Nations, £G ; Nonpareil, £6 ss. j Central Italy, £2 323. Gd. ; Bright Smile, £2 5a. ; Alburuia, £5 17s. Cd. ; Shotover, 12s.
