SCHOOL MATTERS;
Mr. O'Rorke, Speaker of the Provincial Council, is at present up here. He expressed his great satisfaction at the improved state of fche district since he was last up here. He also visited the library of the Waiuku Institute, and felt satisfied with the collection of books. Mr. Campbell, the secretary, ia afc present compiling a list of books from catalogues presented by Mr. O'Rorke, with view of obtaining more books. It is the intention of the Institute committee, as soon as the Library Committee of the Provincial Council shall have agreed to the hooka selected, to make another T«y valuable addition, to their library.
