AUCKLAND BOWING CLUB
A general meeting of the members of the Auckland Bowing Club was held last evening at the Club-room, Thames Hotel. There was a capital attendance of members Mr D Oxley (captam of the club) in. the chair. ' It was proposed that the Club should purchase the four-oared gig ' Sons of Old' Colonists' at at the sum for which she was offered ; also, that live crews should be entered for th<AmateurKace. The treasurer was instructed to write to Mr. A. Coates, requesting him to at once hand over to the Club the amount of money collected by him for tickets sold at the amateur dramatic performance that took place about two months back.
