AUCKLAND ROWING CLUB.
A meeting of the members of the Auckland Rowing Club was held last evening at the Club-room, Thames Hotel. There was a very good attendance ; Mr. Atkyns in the chair. The captain of the club (Mr. D. Oxley) read a report respecting the new boat-shed, and from which it appeared that the amount of £18 7s. had been expended in the alterations to it. He also informed the members that he had selected the following crews to train for the forthcoming regatta, viz. :*-No. 1 crew : Messrs, A. E. Isaacs, H. Henderson, W. Brassey, A. Coates ; Master Isaacs, coxswain. No. 2 crew: Messrs. JohnCruickshank,George Dunnett, S. Morrin, Fletcher ; Master Merriman, coxswain. No. 3 crew : Messrs. H. Ellis, Marshall. V. E.^Rice, B. Provo ; Master Tonks, coxswain. The members of No. 3 crew aro requested to be down at the boat-shed this afterDoon at four o'clock sharp, for practice. Several new gentlemen were proposed as members of the club, after which the meeting adjourned.
