CORRESPONDENCE. EDUCATION.
To the Editor of the Dailt Qovtmxkk Gloss. Sir,— -In your israe of the 28th November, " Simplicity " characterises the "ad nauseam principle of instruction," enunciated by Mr. Taylor, as a "truly alarming one." Ido not share in this alarm. lam prepared to maintain against all cavillers that; the "ad nauseam principle" has elements of good in it whi< h will in time force them•elves upon tbe public. It appears to me that " Simplicitas " is unable to grasp the scope or discern the force and beauty of this principle. I don't ttink in fact that he (and perhaps many others) understands what it is at all. I would counsel such persons to try to procure and read Mr. Taylors luminous lettera to the Superintendent on education ; should they accomplish this they will feel and understand in what the "ad nauseam principle of instruction " consists. — I am, <\c. f OUTIS
