WRECK OF THE CHALLENGE AT THE MANUKAU HEADS.

The schooner Colonist will sail for the East Coast to-day. The Comerang. — The p.s. Comerang, Captain Chris p, took her departure for Napier on Satur lay night. The Tauranga. — The schooner Taurauga took her departure yesterday morning for Tauranga, with 12 passengers and the following cargo : — 1 box tobacco, 1 quarter-cask brandy, 1 quaiter-cask rum, 2 cases whiskey, 6 half-chests tea, 8 tons flour, 4 tons oats, 1 shaft, 40 mats sugar, 2 tons coal, 150 r>alings, 500 rails, 1,000 feet timber, 1 ton bran, 40 cases groceries, 20 cases and 6 bales drapery, 10 casks ale, 6 cases lemonade, 1 punt. The cutter Woodstock will take her departure for Opotiki to-day, with the following cargo : — 1 hhd. rum, 5,272 feet timber, good shingles, 4 cases, 4 packages, 49 packages ironmongery, 1 plough, 4 tons flour, 10 packages drapery, 9 cases brandy, 5 cases, 1 9 packages tea, i ton sugar, 12 boxes soap, 6 cheeses, 479 sacks, 25 packages merchandise. The s.s. Tauranga sailed for the Bay of Islands on Saturday. , The interpiovincial mail contract with the | Circular Saw Company, of which we have before stated the substance, is published in the Neio Zealand Gazette of the 4th instant.
