PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
This place of amusement was but thinly attended on Saturday night last, owing probably to the new attraction in the Oity Hall, and also owing somewhat to the sloppy nature of the streets and the weather. " The Lonely Man of the Ocean" was produced, as on the former evening, with the same cast, | Mr. S. OBrien sustaining the part of the hero, and Mrs. .Walter Hill that of the herou\e. The piece was fairiy put upon the stage, some of the scenes being very geod. The afterpiece was the first two acfcs of aTliBa Tli8 ©olleen Bawn," and the -great cave scene at the close, which was indeed magnificent. To-night, there is promised a treat of no ordinaiy kind. The celebrated singer, Barry O'Neil, will make his first appearance before an Auckland public, when we trust a bumper house will reward the energy of the spirited lessees in providing always some' change in our amusements.
