ARRIVAL OF THE COMERANG. The p. a. Comerang, Captain Chrisp, arrived in harbour last evening from Napier, ril the Thames, having a cargo of sheep (a portion of which she landed at the Thames in excellent order), and four passengers. Captain Chrisp reports having left Napier on Sunday last, but was compelled to run back, owing to the very heavy N.E. winds experienced soon after leaving Napier. Sailed again on Tuesday, and experienced variable winds throughout the run up. Passed the East Cape on Wednesday at 10 a.m., and arrived at Tararu at 6 p.m. on Thursday, and alongside the Queen-stieet Wharf at about 8 o'clock last evening. The Comei'ang passed tha schooner Tawera (bound to this port) off the East Cape on Wednesday morning. The Comerang will take her departure for Napier again this afternoon.

The brig Deva took her departure for Newcastle iii ballast yesterday morning. The Stab op the South. — The s.s. Star of the South, Captain W. Bendall, sailed last evening for Napier. She took a general cargo and several passengers. The schooner Fiery Cross will sail for the Friendly Islands on Monday next. Whaler's Report. — The barque Sea Hanger, Captain Dalton, arrived at the Bay of Islands on Wednesday last, after a seven months' cruise, having taken 38 bairels oil. The L(jna. — The Colonial Government p. s. Luna, Captain Fairchild, returned to harbour yesterday morning from the Thames. The following vessels were loading at Eussell when the Samson left : — Schooners Kami, Mariner, and five cutters. Sailed — For Auckland, schooner Jane ; for Thames, Aurora. The Samson.— The p.s. Samson, Captain Mundle, returned from the Bay of Islands yesterday afternoon, bringing several passengers, and a cargo of coals and sundries. She left Russell at G p.m. on Thursday, and experienced strong S. and S.E. winds to Whangarei; thence light winds. The Samson took her departure again in the afternoon, at 5 o'clock, tor Whangarei, having a geneial cargo, and a number of passengers. She will return from Whangarei to-morrow afternoon.
