Messrs. C. Arthur and Son report the following prices obtained at their sale today :— Apples, ssd to 6d ; pears, 3d ; potatoes, 2s 3d to 2s lid; cheese, 6jfd; fresh butter, Is 2d to Is 6d ; bacon, lO^d. ; hams, 8d to 9cl ; tea (boxes) 21a ; onions, l^d tQ lid ; salt butter, ll^d. ' Mr. L. W. Eaton reports having sold to* day : — Apples, 6d to 6|xl ; cheese (damaged) Hd. Mr. S. Jones held a sales, of wines and spirits et bis mart, Queen-street, to day. There was a good attendance, and a largo stock was disposed of. The following is a list of prices obtained ;— Rum, 30 0. p., 4s 5d per gallon ; rum, 10 0.p., 3s 6d to 4s ; Martell's dark brandy, 7s ; bfandy (pale) in hods., 6s lid; U. Y. P. brandy;' 6s; Bernard's old torn, 13s 3d per ddzen , port wine, 10s per gallon ; sherry, 7s ; whiskey, 4s 4d to ss.
