The meeting of shareholders of the Royal Standard Goldrwuing Company, aclrertised to be held yestetidaij; afternoon at the Company's office, did not, take place, owing to the scanty attendance of'sh'areholders. A meeting ofi^tfie /shareholders of the Golden Turret Claim,' Murphy's Hill, was held on Thursday, at", the offices of Messrs. Mitchell and Perciv^Vwhen Mr. Percival w.as elected director/in the room of the late Captain Mas3ey. '<Hie> following were appointed directors :— Messrs. WalJnutt, Cran, Blake, Dowden, and Burt. It was agreed at once to take steps -to gefc in calls, so that work may be proceeded with.
