ONEHUNGA. RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Wednesday. (Before Captain Symonds, E M ) CIVIL CASFS. Westlake v, Turner and Another : Claim, £2 10s. ( for use of horses and carts. Plaintiff had agreed with defendant to supply horsea and drays at per day to cart scoria. The dispute was to the time actually employed, and one horse was short of the complement. Several witnesses were examined on each side, and the Court gave judgment for £2 3s, 4d., the amount paid into Court, without costs. Smith v. Mclntyre : Claim, £4, for rent. No appearance of either party.
