AMUSEMENTS,

The Prince of Wales Theatre had an excellent house last night, every pavt oi the building except the dress circle being -well filled. The comedy of ' 'The Little Treasure " was repeated, the vaiions parts being capitally sustained. Mra. J. L. Hall, as Gertrude, acted with much vivacity and spirit, while Mr. Hall's Captain Maydenblusli was excellent, The Grand Challenge Hornpipe, which followed, was admirably performed by three jolly tars, whose energetic aanoing was greeted with a storm of applause and a shower of bouquets, ending in a call before the curtain. The performance concluded with the nautical comedy of "The Spitfire," which, was excellently placed on the boards. .The first appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Lachlan McGowan is announced for to-night, There was no performance at the Duke of Edinburgh Theatre last night.
