Felony.— James Shine, of OUhuhu, a Rrnall boy of 13 years of age, was charged by John Vtigler with stealing a silver watch and gold albert chain of the value of £G. Prisoner pleaded guilty. The constable gave the boy a bad character, but sml he was uegleeted totally I>y his parents. 'i he Oourb ex pressed Borrow that there was no leformatuiy for such cases as theso, and it was with legrrt it was compelled to send co small ft boy to piison. Cure however would he taken to luep him separate — Sentence- two mouths' imprisonment aud twice privately wbipped. Civil Cases —Wilson v. O'Brifln ; claim, ±7 9: s(\. No appeai-ftnce of either party. — Goodwill v. OBrien; claim, £4 2<. No appearance of either party, -Schmidt and Co. v. Bowden ; claim, £1 6*. lOd. Settled out of Court.
