PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.

There was a capital house at fctie Prince of Wales Theatre 'on Saturday night, a fact obviously attributable to the very attractive and novel bill that was presented. The performance opened "with the celebrated sensational drama of "Dick Turpin." This piece was excellently placed upon the stage, the ' several characters were well cast, and the " make- ' up" in ea"h case was unexceptionable. The princi- ' pal characters were, spiritedly sustained by Messrs, Clifford (Tom King), Hesford (Dick Turpin), MrsJ, OBrien (Betty), and Mr. O. OBrien (as the Countryman). The afterpiece of "Slasher and Crasher*' 1 was played with great spirit and effect, though hitches were observable. The performance will be repeated to-night; and to-morrow eveniDg the famous drama of " itob Roy" will be produced, the principal character being sustained by Mr. OBrien, whose benefit uight it will be. Madame Tourne»T will take her benefit on Wednesday, the former one having been particularly unfortunate through the inolemency of the weather.
