POSTAL GRIEVANCE.

To the Editor of the Datlt Southbbv Cross. S IR) Would you kindly inform me if the present Panama mail service could not be so arranged that we, residents ia the Waikato district?, should have time to answer our English letters by the returning mail? The last English mail arrived in Ngaruawahia ju«fc the same day that the homeward English mail left Auckland, so that many persons, to my knowledge, who received letters that required immediate answering were unable to do so. By informing me on this subject, you will greatly oblige,— Yours, &c. Erederiok. Bill. Ngaruawahia, Waikato, June 9, 1868. [There is great uncertainty in the arrival of the Panama mail. We believe on two occasions only has it arrived in Auckland at the advertised date. We do not, therefore, at present see that any advantage would accrue to the Waikato settlers in having any definite date fixed, as suggested by our correspondent.—Ed. D.S,C3
