ONEHONGA. RESIDENTS MAGISTRATE'S COURT. Wednesday. [Before J. J. Symonds, Esq., R.M.]
A youth named Justin McSweeney was charged by constable Lloyd -with a breach of the Auckland Municipal Act, 1866, section 5, clause 26, by discharging firearms near to the public streets, so a3 to endaDger passers-by. The Bench fined defendant ss. and costs, with a warning not to commit a similar offence. Two boys named respectively Daniel and btepnen Mahoney were charged by William Hewitt with taking away a boat, value 30a. The c»se being one of disputed ownership, ib was dismissed.
