Day fob Public Rejoicing on account op th« safe Recovery of H.R.H. the Duke or Edinburgh. Superintendent's Office, Auckland, April 16, 1868. Id accordance with the suggestion made in the above resolution, I notify for general information that the offices of the Provincial Government will be closed on Wednesday, the 29th April instant ; and I hereby invite the inhabitants of the province of Auckland to observe that day as a day of public rejoicing and thanksgiving for the ««fe recovery of his ;Royal Highness Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh.
