DUNEDIN,
The Olago Daily Times of the 4th contains the following report : — Transactions have been more numerous, but large sales rather the exception than rule. The market for breadstuffs remains steady, but the increased amount of provincial flour available renders the sale of imported at the usual difference in value more difficult. Bulk beer has been placed at maintained rates, and some sales of first brands stouts have been made at last quotations. For bottled ales thers is no inquiry, except for Tennaat's, of which there is scarcely any in either first or second hands. Some sales of teas are reported, and transactions in provisions pending, prices not varying sensibly frcm current rates. Galvanised iron and Scotch flooring have also been placed to arrive. There hai been nothing in the auction business of the week to call for notice.
