CRICKET MATCH. MILITARY Y. CIVILIANS.
A scratch cricket m*tch was played on the Albert Barrack, ground on ' Saturday afternoon. • The civilians went first to the wickets to the bowling of Messrs. Onslow and Loughey; the total remit of the innings being as follows: —
The late hour at. which play commenced in the afternoon prevented the match,. being further preceded with before time was"'called. There was a fair numhsE-of spectators on fee 'ground', and the fine band of the 57th Regiment was in attendance,and enlivened the proceedings by playing several popular airs. It is not intended, we believe, to further continue thif match.
