The Lytttlton Times of the 18th reports :— The grain market was extremely dull to-day, probably owing to, the inclemency of £he weather. The 'prices of barley ranged from is to 4a 6d per bushel. Oats were scarcely bo firm as on the previous Saturday, and 2s 9d per bushel may b» quoted as the highest price realised for the samples produced. Wheat remained at last week's quotations of from Si Sd to 3s 6d per bushel. Flour at from £11 to £12 per ton. Sharps may be quoted at £5 per ton, and bran at £4. Best grass hay maintained its prioe of j§s per ton.
