Cappell, 4th prise, £3; and J. Udy, 6tb prize, £2. Messrs. Udy and (Jappell made a tie at the close of the firing, and on the tie being shot off, Mr. Cappell was declared the winner, and obtained the 4th prize, Mr. Udy getting the 6th. According to the " Rules and Regulations for the Government Prize Firing, 1867," in districts where two or pore sets of prizes are given, the winners of the first prize in each set mast fire three shots each at 400 yards range, and the highest scorer will then receive the silver medal for the district. Ensign A. Morrow and J. Spraggen therefore competed for the silver medal at the close of the firing for the district prizes, and Ensign Morrow proved the viotor, making two ! points over his adversary.
