MISCELLANEOUS. The N.Z.S.N. Company's s.s. Queen, Captain Kreeft, left here on the 3rd instant at half-past 1 p.m., for Taranaki and Southern ports, with a small carpo and 12 passengers. - The P., N.Z., and A.E.M. Co.'s s.s. Airedale, Captain Meikleham, left Dunedin July 23rd, Bluff 24th, Hokitika 27th, Greymouth 27th, Nelson 30th, and Taranaki 31st, and arrived at Manukau August Ist, at 10 a.m/ Experienced beautiful weather during the passage. The topsail schooner Mary Jane. Captain Kirby, arrived in the Manukau onWednesday, Ist inst , from Hokitika, after a tremendous passage of 19 days, Bhe having experienced bad weather with heavy gales. The three-masted schooner Little Fred, Captain Champion, left for Greymonthon Wednesday morning N at daylight, with a full cargo. TheJN.Z.S.N. Co.'ss.«. Stormbird, Captain Gleadou, left the new Government wharf on Thursday afternoon, August 2, for Taranaki, Wanganui, and Wellington, with a full cargo aad 38 passengers. The s.s. Airedale, Captain Meikleham, steamed off the White Bluff on Thursday, at 3.30 p.m., with a small cargo and 23 passengers, for Taranaki and Southern ports. Wbeck off Long Point.— Captain Hughes, of the schooner Thaqg of Eyfe, which arrived last evening, reports the total wreck off Longr Point of the schooner Vivid, Captain Scon, belonging to Napier, during the recent heavy weather. He also report* that fears are entertained for the safety of two men who left Napier for the Wairoa (Hawke's Bay) in an open boat, and have not since been heard of. The cutter Volunteer left the wharf for Hokitika on Sunday afternoon, with a full cargo.
