ARRIVAL OF THE KENILWORTB. The new topsail schooner Kenilworth, Captain M. McKenzie, returned to port on Wednesday moruing from New Caledonia, with a cargo of maize. She left New Caledonia on the 23rd ult., and experienced tine weather, with moderate winds, all the passage. Had a fine weather passage of nine day 3 from this coast to Port de Frauce, with a cargo of timber. Reports the arrival of the schooner Coral Queen at New Caledonia, ten clays out from Auckland, vj.l Norfolk Island ; and the departure of the schooner Kate Grant, Captain McLiver, from thence to Norfolk Islan«l, to load cattle. The Kenilworth saw no vessels during the passage. Reports the arrival of the French war frigate Sybil at the island, with a batch of convicts, and three French war schooners lying off the port. Cargo : 1,191 bushels maize, 2 casks cocoa-nut oil, Cruickshank, Smart, and Co. (agent*).

ARRIVAL OP THE SCHOONER THANE 01 FTFE. The topsail schooner Thane of Fyfe, Captain Hughes, arrived in harbour on Thursday, from Napier, via Poverty Bay, in ballast. She left Napier on the 24th ultimo, and experienced head winds to Poverty Bay. Put into the latter place, wiud-bound, on the 28tb, and lay there four days, Left for Auckland on Tuesday night, and made the run iv 36 hours. Reporfca fcke *rrival of the Donald McLean at Poverty Bay on Tuesday, and the departure of the Tawera for Napier; also reports thf schooner Jane, sailing in company with her foi Auckland. Spoke the schooner Kauri off Hicks't Bay on Wednesday, and sighted the s.«. Star of the South, on Thursday, off Poverty Bay, bound to Napier. The Thane of Fyfe will undergo sundry repairs before leaving this port. — Cruickshank, Smart, and Co , agents.

ARRIVAL OF THE S.S. LORD ASHLEY. The P., N.Z., and A.R.M. Co.'s».s. Lord Ashley, Captain Gordon Ponsonby, arrived in harbour on 3uu» day from Uokibika, Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Tauranga, bringing cargo and 22 passengers. She left Hokitika on the 23rd.

ARRIVAL OF THE BRIG PAKEHA, The brig Pakeha, Captain Robinson, arrived off the Heads late on Monday nighb from Taranaki, with a quantity of military stores, gunpowder, &c, shipped by the officer commanding head-quarters at Taranaki. She left Tarauaki about the 26th ultimo, having been detained awaiting a favourable wind for some days previously. Experienced he.id winds and rouph seas during the passage, arriving off the Heads as above. — Henderson and Macfarlane, agents.

ARRIVAL OF THE SCHOONER RAPID. The schooner Rapid, Captain Eil wards, arrived in harbour on Tuesday afternoon from Norfolk Island, with a full cargo of settlers' produce, Ac. The .Rapid, which has recently changed hauds, and has been put on the Norfolk Island trade, returns with her first cargo on account of her new owners. She left Norfolk Island on Saturday, the 28th ultimo, and encountered a luccesssion of gales and heavy weather throughout the passage. Reports the schooners Kate Grant and Mary Ira, of this port, having left there for New Caledonia, shortly before her arrival. Saw an. English barquo pass the island duiing her stay there, supposed to be one of the men-of-war from this port.

MISCELLANEOUS. The P., N.Z., and A.X.M. Co.'s s.s. Claud Hamilton, Captain Harris, left the pier at noon ou Thursday for Sydney, with the English mail, general cargo, some specie, and 56 passengers. * The Ba.rqdb Alice Cameron. — The Circular Saw barque Alice Cameron, Captain Nearing, left the harbour at noon on Sunday for Sydney, with a large cargo of wool, hides, timber, potatoes, general merchandise, and 31 passengers. The cattle barque Kate Waters, Captain Calder, sailed from the Heads early on Saturday morning for Gladstone, Port Curtis, Queensland, in ballast. She will return with, a cargo of cattle on account of the Commissariat contractor. The new schooner Aspasia, Captain Sulliran, left the harbour on Sunday for Lyttelton, vift. Waikawai, with * general cargo, and will ship 33,000 feet of timber at the latter place for the Lyttelton market. H.M. s. Falcon. — H.M. s. Falcon, Captain Farkyn, sailed from EfaurakiGulf on Tuesday morning, after taking in a supply of water, &c., for Norfolk Island, where she will join H.M. s. Brisk, on a cruise to the islands, in company with the mission schooner Southern Cross.

The Island Citt —The barque Island City, Cuptain Wolffe, left the harbour on Tuesday morning for Gladstone, Port Curtis, Queensland, in ballast, *ftcr receiving stores, &c, for the return trip from that port with cattle. The acboouer Saucy Las», Captain McKeszie, sailed on Tuesday for 'Napier, vift, Mercury Bay, with » general cargo for the latter place, where the will ship 30,000 feet of timber for Napier. The Anne Melhdish. — The barque Anne Melhuisb, Captain Williams, left the harbour on Tuesday j morning for.Newcastle, N.S.W., with 30,000 feet of sawn timber, and the following passengers :— Mm, Laurie and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, Messrs. T. Lewis, W. Simpson, J. Knox, R. Andrews, J. Thompson, W. Booth, G. Dunn, and W. Satterley: total, 13. Thes.s. Beautiful Star, Captain Morwick, sailed on Tuesday, for Napier, with a general cargo, shipped by Auckland mei chants. The cutter Lady Wynyard, Trimmer, master, ■ailed on Tuesday for Napier, via Wangapoa, with timber from the latter place. The cutter Nautilus sailed on Thursday for Napier, in charge of Captain Bushel], late of the Betsy. She will call at Mercury Bay to load 22,000 feet of timber.

The Schooner Albatross. — The schooner Albatross, Captain Braund, arrived in port on Saturday morning from Otago, with a cargo of oats and kerosine oil. r I he Albatross left Otago on the^24th. The s.s. Star ,of the South, Captain Bendall, coa.led at the hulk on Saturday morning, and left the harbour ear-Jy the following morning for Jfapier, with a small cargo of maize, hay. &c.

The Schooner Meteor.— The schooner Meteor, Captain Martin, arrived in port on Saturday evening from Kaiapoi, Canterbury, with grain. She left Kaiapoi on Thursday, the 26th. The barque Punce Kegent, Captain Mcf aughlin, left the harbour on Tuesday for Wellington with her original cargp of coals (2§o tons), from Newcastle, N«w South Wa}es, on account of the P.,N.Z., and A.E.M. Company.
