Friday, March 1, ISCI. The calendar was very light thisj Session, and it was unnecessary to empanuel ft petty juiy, the piisonera — nine in number — in every case pleading gudty. In his address to the Grand Jury, his honor the Chief Justice dwelt stiongly on the state of our gaol, and the necessity of introducing some reform into the manner of treating cuminals condemned to imprisonment.
