LEAVE TO RESIGN
Dutch Governor-General (Received October 26, 9.40 p.m.) THE HAGUE, October 26. The Governor-General of the Netherlands East Indies, M. Van Stachouwer, has been given leave to resign at his own request. He gave notice of bis resignation on October 15. It is reported to be because of a difference of opinion with the Dutch Government's attitude to the Indonesian nationalist movement.
