Work On Giant Telescope

Work on the 200-inch telescope at Pasadena, California, which was begun, in 1930 and halted by the war will be resumed in November. It is hoped to have the ‘big eye” seeking the depths of space by June, .1947, from the observatory on" top of Mt. Palqmnr. The main job ahead is the grinding of the huge glass disc.
