SIX MORE FREIGHTERS
SI DNEY, October 19. bix Japanese freighters of between 1090 mid 3000 tons have been destroyed by General MacArthur's aircraft ranging between Morotai Island and tJie Philippines. Two of the vessels W ere sunk in Cagayan harbour, at Mindanao, where airfields have again been hit Io hamper enemy air interference with American fleet, movements to the north.
Installations at the important oil centre of Balik Papan, in Borneo, were left, burning, after the fourth successive night raid.
