Tomorrow night at the Opera House, Wellington, J. C. Williamson's popular comedy company of comedy and dramatic artists will present the Initial production here of Hugh Herbert’s clever comedy "Kiss and Tell." The booking is highly satisfactory and tlie season Is likely to prove as successful ns the company s Previous one, in July and August last. "Kiss and Tell,” wrote n critic recently, is true comedy. The action begins on quite a decorous note, depleting the Archers as a typical middle-class family, but develops at ever-increasing speed, culminating in riotous fun which even the members of the cast seem to enjoy. Lloyd Lambics interpretation of the role of Harry Archer Is sold to be one of bls finest, nnd Miss Diana Craig, a brilliant young actress from London, has been highly praised for her artistic presentation of the part of Janet Archer. Bettina Welch, John Tate, Frank Bradley. Sam Stern, Allen Christie, Ethel Gabriel. Lily Moore, Alan Rankin, Fred Fullbook are all congenially placed in "Kiss nnd Tell,” and the three youngest members of the company. June Mendoza, John Gray and David Lawson, have scored sitcceesea In important porta. Miss Lesley Jackson will make her first appearance with the company in the character of Mrs. Franklin.
