Liberation Of Greece
Over 150 warships of various types took part in the occupation of Athens ami the Piraeus and the preceding operations in the Aegean, reports a Rome correspondent, units of the Canadian, South African, Greek, French and Polish navies joined the British ships in the liberation of Greece. British landing craft and a motorlaunch entered Corfu harbour latn last ’Thursday. They received a very friendly welcome.
