Sydney Newspaper Dispute (Received October 18, 1.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 17. Tito indications tonight are that the Sydney newspaper dispute lias ended. It is believed that normal publication of the four dailies involved in the dispute will be resumed within the next few days. The present plans are that the evening papers will publish on Friday, and morning papers on Saturday. Today representatives of the employers and employees met in conference before the President of the Industrial Commission, Air. Justice Taylor. .At the conclusion of the conference his Honour said that the terms of a settlement had been drawn up between the parties and would be submitted to the employees for consideration. A conference of the unions concerned would be held on Thursday to consider the terms.
