RADIO-CONTROLLED WEAPONS
(Received October 17, 9.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 17. Allied forces according to a Domei broadcast picked up by (he United States are using a new weapon in the Rabaul sector. Domei said “the enemy hurled five radio-controlled weapons against Rabaul, all of which our units shot down.” An Associated Press correspondent reveals that some of the. Americans’ newest “flat-tops,” or carriers, now carry Mitchell Marauders.
