LATE MR. J. J. W. POLLARD
The funeral of Mr. John Pollard took place yesterday at the Karori Cemetery. Among those present at the service in the cromatoriuni chapel were the Prime Minister,. Mr. Eraser, and his chief secretary. Mr. C. A. Jeffery, representatives of the Wellington Savage Club, including the Chief Savage, Mr. Howard Foster, the president of the Tliorndon Bowling 'Club, Mr, J. Gibson, the Director of Publicity, Mr. J. T. Paul, members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery, and a number of those who were journalistic colleagues and friends of the lute Mr. Pollard in Christchurch and Invercargill. The Rev. C. 11. Isaacson officiated and the pallbearers were Messrs. T. R. Pollard, J. T. Paul, Alan Mulgan .and Brigadier N. McD. Weir.
