ITALY AT WAR WITH JAPAN
(Received September 28, 10 p.m.) ROME, September 28. Italy has been at war against Japan for some time, though a formal declaration was never made, and she intends to continue the war after the end of the European conflict, said Viscount Venosta. Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs at a Press conference. He hailed Mr. Churchill and Mr. Roosevelt’s statement on Italy [published yesterday] as an “act of supreme justice.”
