Annual Hunt Meeting At Hawera

The Taranaki and Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Clubs will hold a combined race meeting at Hawera today. Fields of good size are engaged and the Weraroa Stakes Cor maidens will be run in two divisions as the acceptors exceed the safety number by seven. There has been a fair amount of rain at Hawera during the week, but the weather was line yesterday and the track dried out a good deal though it will bo soft for today's! racing.
