SUSTAINED FLYINGBOMB CAMPAIGN
(British Official Wireless.) (Received August 25, 7 pan.) RUGBY, August 24. From (he middie of June, the start of the attacks on Britain, to the end of July, it is estimated that the enemy fired 5250 flying bombs. Approximately 2000 were dispatched during the first three weeks of August, thus making the total about "250. The anti-aircraft guns filled the sky with a heavy barrage when the attacks continued at intervals during the last 24 hours.
