WEDDING
Yule—Hold a way
A quiet but pretty early-morning wedding took place at Wesley Church, Featherston, ' recently, when Alister George Yule and Doreen Mary Holdaway were married, the officiating minister being the Rev. Mr. Leadley. The bride was the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Iloldaway, Dillon’s Poiut. and the bridegroom the second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Yule, Featherston. Th« bride, escorted by her father, made a charming picture in a model frock of ovster georgette with a long train. _ Her veil of tulle was held in place with a head-snray of white roses, and she carried a bouquet of white camellias, roses and heather. . ■ The two bridesmaids were the brides sister. Ngaire. who wore a full-length frock of powder blue boucle. and Miss Barbara Matthews, whose frock was of dusky pink boucle. They both carried bouquets of pink camellias and heath and wore the same kind of flowers in their hair.
The duties of best man and groomsman were carried out by Messrs. Geoff. Holdaway and Robert Gee. The future home of'Mr. and Mrs. Yule will be at Homebush. Masterton.
