Allied Air Campaign (Received August 24, 7 p.m.) RUGBY, August 23. The final major objective at Ploesti has been severely damaged, according to pictures taken after the most recent series of air attacks, says a Rome war correspondent. Tbe Romano-Americano refinery had survived 11 major attacks before vital installations were severely damaged by Fortresses and Liberators last Friday.
