CORRESPONDENTS KILLED
LONDON. August 22. Two war correspondents have lost their lives in France. Tom Treanor, representing the “Los Angeles Times and the N.8.C.. died in a front line hospital after a Sherman tank overran his jeep, and William Stringer. Reuter correspondent with the American forces, was killed while reporting the advance of American troops in th# forward zone. No further detail* g Mr. Stringers death are known.
