RAYON YARN REPORT DENIED
(Received August 23. 5.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 23. Mr. J. T. McKee, Australian represAitative for Courtaulds, British textile and rayon manufacturers, has described as “incorrect and without authority the statement that Courtaulds were prepared to spend £5,000,000 for the early establishment of a factory in Australia to make rayon yarns. This might, however, bo done at some later date, though many difficulties would have to be overcome.
