Permission was grunted to the Hutt club to play a senior match against Marist Brothers’ Old Boys on the Hutt recreation ground on Saturday in aid of the funds of the Hull Valley St. John Ambulance building fund. Permission was granted to the Victoria University College club to send its colts' fifteen to Walpukurau on August 2G to play Te Aute College for the Pickett Cup. At the Instance of the Hutt club, it was agreed to allow preferential booking to clubs for representative matches, senior Hubs to ba allowed to book 15 seats, and other clubs 10 seats, the day before booking Is open to the public. A grant of £6B was made to the referees’ association. REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS E. Jamieson (Athletic) has been chosen to replace Tucker (Army) as wlngtii rec.-quarter in the Wellington team which is to piny Manawatu at Palmerston North on -Saturday, Tucker is on the sick list. The Wellington team will train at the Athletic gymnasium tonight.
