NAZI ADMIRAL’S SUICIDE
LONDON, August 21. Admiral Siegfried Wieder, commander of the German marine forces in southern France, who was in charge of the coastal defences, committed suicide four days before the invasion, says the British United Press correspondent on the Riviera. Admiral Wieder is reported to have been implicated in the plot against Hitler.
