Revival Of Bledisloe Cun Contest Twenty-a-Hille telegraphic cl>ess_ matches for the club championship of New Zealand, which have not been held since 1113*1, are to be revived this year. The fixture between the Auckland and Wellington clubs is scheduled to begin at (».!■* p.m. on Sntnrdav next, and to be concluded a week later’. The winning side Is to be pitted against the Canterbury Chess Club in the tinnl for the Bledisloe Cup on September 23 and 30. The Otago Chess Club is not entering a loam on this occasion. When this tourney was held five years ago the results were as follows: — North island; Auckland C.C.. 10}; Wellington C.C.. ill. South Island: Canterbury <•<'.. 11.? (itago i'.C..
