RADIO LICENCE FEES

Tlie possibilities of new forms of broadcasting, not only for entertainment but for education, news and information were so startling as .to stai'ier even those closely associated with 'heir development. If New Zealand was to be in a position to take advantage of this development, it would seem wise lo hold the licence fee at the present level, provided the surplus accruing was devoted to providing the listener with the service to which ho was entitled.
